Appointments

Urgent appointments for today (Monday to Friday)

To request an urgent appointment for today (Monday to Friday):

  • Use our online form. We aim to respond to urgent requests within 24 hours when we are open.
  • Phone your surgery during opening hours.

When you get in touch, we will ask what you need help with.

We will use the information you give us to choose the most suitable doctor, nurse or health professional to help you. Who will I see?

We safely help as many patients as we can with urgent same-day needs but high demand can exceed availability some days. When this happens, we may be able to offer you an evening or Saturday appointment locally or signpost you to other appropriate services that can help you quickly.

Routine appointments

We have routine appointments available up to 30 days in advance. To request a routine appointment:

  • Use our online form. We aim to respond to routine requests within 24 hours when we are open.
  • Phone your surgery during opening hours.

When you get in touch, we will ask what you need help with.

We will use the information you give us to choose the most suitable doctor, nurse or health professional to help you. Who will I see?

We may be able to offer you an evening or Saturday appointment locally. This clinic is based at Lordswood Healthy Living Centre for pre-booked appointments only.

Self-referrals where you don’t need to contact us first are available for some health services locally including blood tests, continence clinic, dressings/wound care and physiotherapy. Find out more.

Cancel or change an appointment

To cancel your appointment:

  • Use our cancel an appointment form [IATRO: Please add a form here]
  • Reply to your appointment text reminder.
  • Phone your surgery during opening hours.
  • Visit the surgery and let the receptionist know in person.

Please tell us as soon as possible if you no longer need your appointment, so we can offer your appointment to someone else and help reduce waiting times.

If you regularly miss booked appointments, you may be asked to find an alternative GP practice and removed from our practice list.
